Dear Parents, Beloved Goalkeeper Trainees,

We are happy to announce that the upcoming handball goalkeeper camp is scheduled from June 30st to July 5th, 2025. We are waiting for the application of goalkeepers aged 12 to 18 years-old. The total number of participants is limited to 40 children, who will be divided into two groups of 20 members each based on their age - one group for ages 12 to 14 and another for ages 15 to 18. All training sessions will take place at the sports arena of Lovassy László Gymnasium located at 11 Cserhát Street in Veszprém.

Internationally recognized specialized coaches will take care of the children's development. For their safety and for their engagement, educators will be responsible 24 hours a day.

In last year's 2024 camp, the Reaction Hungary Blazepod team made an appearance, and due to their success, they will also be participating in the children's reaction development this year. For the fourth time, AQWAWALLGYM will be demonstrating the potential for enhancing physical fitness in the water while reducing joint impact under the guidance of Péter Pribély. Thanks to the success of the sports psychology training launched five years ago we are providing it for athletes in this year's camp as well. We continue to emphasize not only physical preparedness but also mental agility. Our goal is to teach young athletes how to manage stress, such as anxiety caused by competitions.

The children will be accommodated in the dormitories of the Archiepiscopal College of Veszprém (Veszprém, Jutasi út 18/2.), in rooms with 2-3 beds each. The meals will be provided by the college's own kitchen under the supervision of a sports dietitian. We offer five meals daily for the children. Refreshments (mineral water) will be provided during the training sessions. Free Wi-Fi hotspot service is available at the accommodation.

Both during the training and throughout the camp, we will communicate with the children in English and German languages.

We do not assume responsibility for the loss, theft, or damage of personal items brought by the children, such as mobile phones, tablets, speakers, etc.

For any financial loss resulting from causing damage to another child's belongings on the training premises or at the accommodation, the parents/guardian of the responsible child shall bear the financial responsibility.

The consumption of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products is strictly prohibited during the camp. Any child who violates this rule will be excluded from further camp activities, and the parent must ensure the immediate return of the child home.

Participants kindly asked to arrive at the camp's accommodation on June 30, 2025, at 8:00 AM. Please make sure that you bring the completed Health Declaration, GDPR Consent, and Application Form. The first training session will begin promptly at 9:00 AM. Departure from the camp will be possible on July 05, 2025.

Children coming from more distant locations have the possibility to arrive the day before the camp starts, thus ensuring the full training opportunity for young goalkeepers. The additional cost of their full service and accommodation is 14,000 HUF/35 € per person on top of the advertised fee.

Children need to bring:

4. TAJ Card, ID Card, Student ID
5. Child's medications (perhaps pain relievers)
6. Personal hygiene items
7. Sunscreen
8. Swim trunks, bathing suit
9. Swim cap or bathing cap (mandatory)
10. Slippers
11. Raincoat
12. Pool towel
13. Cash (recommended)
14. Sports attire
15. Fitness mat, SMR roller (for exercise)

The application starting from November 15, 2024, on the website Utánpótlás Kézilabdakapus Képző Sportegyesület (kezilabdakapus.hu) by filling out the form available under the "Documents" section.

Payment: Payment through bank transfer will only take place after the confirmation of application acceptance (Invoice). The payment deadline will be indicated in the Invoice. We offer the possibility of paying the fee in two or three instalments, or as agreed upon. The initial deposit amount is 50,000 HUF (fifty thousand Hungarian forints). Participation in the camp can be cancelled by May 15, 2025, with a refund of the deposit. In case of cancellation after May 15, 2025, we are unable to refund the deposit amount. However, if there is another applicant to fill the cancelled spot, we will refund the paid amount. The full camp fee must be settled by June 01, 2025.

The price includes cost of all services (facility usage, meals, swimming pool entry, swimming lane rental, beach entry, travel expenses, accommodation cost, coaches, trainers, and child supervisors).
